If you are a homeowner who disagrees with your home’s assessed value as indicated on your 2020-2021 Tentative Notice of Assessment, Legislator John R. Ferretti and Town of Hempstead Receiver of Taxes Don Clavin invite you to attend a Property Tax Assessment Workshop. At the workshop, homeowners can have their questions answered and learn how to use the Nassau County Assessment Review Commission’s (ARC) online tools to file an “Application for Correction of Assessment” online or via mail. You may dispute the assessed value by April 30, 2019.
