On August 5th, Legislator Tom McKevitt and the Nassau County Legislature approved a Community Revitalization Project (CRP) for the North Bellmore School District.
The project will authorize the County to enter into an inter-municipal agreement with the North Bellmore School District to provide $250,000 in Capital Funds to construct and install security booths at the school buildings.
Following the vote, Legislator McKevitt stated: “We cannot put a price on the safety of our children, and I am very pleased to help the North Bellmore School District with funding for security booths at their schools. These booths will provide a safer environment for students to learn”
