Legislator Birnbaum reading to Ms. Valetutti’s Kindergarten class
(WILLISTON PARK, N.Y.) - Legislator Ellen W. Birnbaum (D – Great Neck) had the privilege of serving as a guest reader at the Center Street Elementary School in Williston Park, where she read to Ms. Valetutti’s Kindergarten and Ms. Fortanasce’s third grade classes.
After reading “The Good Egg” by Jory John, Legislator Birnbaum led students in a discussion about the importance of being themselves and answered questions about local government. “I am always grateful for the opportunity to share my passion for reading with students,” said Legislator Birnbaum. “I thank Ms. Valetutti and Ms. Fortanasce classes for inviting me.”
