[ARCHIVED] Legislator Lafazan, Dr. Jaclyn Shlisky Host Virtual Holiday Mental Health Seminar

WHAT:  Nassau County Legislator Joshua Lafazan (Woodbury) is partnering with Dr. Jaclyn Shlisky of the Insight Psychology Group to present a virtual mental health seminar focused on the holiday season.

“Our seminar is designed to provide viewers with healthy tools for maintaining a balanced mindset during a time of year that, during normal circumstances, is joyous but stressful for so many of us,” Legislator Lafazan said. “Now more than ever, it’s critically important to extend a hand to residents and connect them with beneficial resources, and I thank Dr. Shlisky for lending her expertise to this upcoming webinar.”

Dr. Shlisky is a licensed clinical psychologist and certified school psychologist based in Syosset. Her primary specializations are in child development, cognitive behavioral therapy, family counseling, educational interventions, psychological/educational assessment, effective parenting strategies, consultation and educational advocacy.
