(NEW HYDE PARK, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Ellen W. Birnbaum (D - Great Neck) was pleased to join County Executive Laura Curran, other colleagues in government, leaders of the Lakeville Estates Civic Association of New Hyde Park, and the NCPD Foundation at Clinton G. Martin Park on Thursday, March 25. There, Lakeville Estates Civic presented a check to the NCPD Foundation for the purchase of a new bicycle that will be used by Third Precinct patrol officers. “Through their generous donation to the NCPD Foundation, the Lakeville Estates Civic Association of New Hyde Park is taking an active role in supporting local law enforcement and their community-based approach to policing. I look forward to seeing our Third Precinct patrol officers using the new bicycle on the beat this spring and summer,” said Legislator Birnbaum.
