EDUCATION ASSISTANCE CORPORATION HOSTS RIBBON CUTTING AT NEW OFFICES

The EAC recently celebrated the opening of its new offices in the heart of Nassau County with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Executive Director Neela Mukherjee Lockel and Chairman of the EAC Board Richie Kessel cut the ribbon on the new EAC offices at 99 Quentin Roosevelt Blvd.  The event was attended by a number of elected officials including Nassau County Legislature Presiding Officer Richard Nicolello, Legislator Rose Marie Walker, Hempstead Senior Councilwoman Dorothy Goosby, Nassau County Commissioner of Human Services Jill Nevin, and the staff and board of directors of the EAC Network including CEO

EAC is a not-for-profit social service agency that supports over 43,000 people through 100 programs across Long Island and New York City. They focus on protecting children and youth, promoting healthy families and communities, helping seniors and empowering individuals to take control of their lives. EAC was formed in 1969 as the Education and Assistance Corporation and rebranded to the EAC Network in 2013.
