(OYSTER BAY, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Joshua Lafazan (D – Woodbury) celebrated the vibrant and historic Oyster Bay business community during the third annual Oyster Bay Day on Saturday, June 10.
Presented by the Oyster Bay-East Norwich Chamber of Commerce, the daylong street fair featured live music, inflatables, a deluxe video game truck, mini golf, axe throwing, vendors, food trucks and more. Organizers estimate the event drew more than 2,000 people to downtown Oyster Bay, a destination known for its great shops and restaurants.
“By bringing our community together, Oyster Bay Day boosts small businesses from all over the north shore, stimulates our local economy, and supports local entrepreneurs and their locally owned stores,” Legislator Lafazan said. “"Congratulations to the Oyster Bay Chamber of Commerce on a spectacular Oyster Bay Day – we look forward to celebrating with you for many more years to come!”
