North Merrick, NY— This summer, Baylor University junior and North Merrick native, Nicholas Zuzzolo, will be embarking on a cross-country cycling ‘Journey of Hope’ to bring awareness and support to people with disabilities. His journey will start from San Francisco and over the course of 4000 miles and 60 days he will ride to Washington DC and meet up with other people doing a similar cross-country trip. Each day, he will spread his message of empathy, acceptance, and support for people with disabilities, and will meet with organizations and groups that provide aid. Additionally, he will sleep each night in churches and special needs children’s shelters.
