Legislator Rose Marie Walker, in partnership with County Executive Bruce Blakeman and Nassau County Police Department Community Affairs, is hosting a child car seat safety check event in Hicksville to have your child car seats inspected for proper installation and security.
Take this free opportunity to let a professional make sure your child seat is safely installed in your vehicle. To ensure proper inspection and installation, seats and surrounding area should be wiped down and cleared of any loose items before you arrive.
Child car seats are required for children under the age of eight
