Legislator Scott Strauss, in partnership with County Executive Bruce Blakeman and the Nassau County Police Department, is hosting a child car seat safety check event at the Shelter Rock Public Library in Albertson to have your child car seats inspected for proper installation and security.
Take this free opportunity to let a professional make sure your child seat is safely installed in your vehicle. To ensure proper inspection and installation, seats and surrounding area should be wiped down and cleared of any loose items before you arrive.
Child car seats are required for children under the age of eight
