[ARCHIVED] Acting DA Singas Praises ‘Enough is Enough’ Legislation to Combat Campus Sexual Assault

Acting Nassau County District Attorney Madeline Singas released the following statement in support of Governor Andrew Cuomo’s “Enough is Enough” legislation to combat sexual assaults on college campuses:

“This legislation is a major step forward in the fight against campus sexual assault in New York. I commend Governor Cuomo for his leadership on this issue and look forward to working with him, the legislature and our partners in higher education and law enforcement to rid our campuses of the scourge of sexual assault and violence.”
