Presiding Officer Norma L. Gonsalves joined players from the New York Islanders to deliver presents to children at the Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow. Delivering the presents were New York Islanders’ Assistant Captain Kyle Okposo, Thomas Hickey and Cal Clutterbuck to patients who would have to spend the holiday season in the hospital.
“I’m so glad to join these athletes who hold such a strong bond to our community,” said Presiding Officer Gonsalves. “They have spread holiday cheer to so many who deserve it.”
