[ARCHIVED] LEGISLATOR RHOADS TO HOST FREE CHILD CAR SEAT SAFETY INSPECTIONS

Car Seat Safety Inspection

THURSDAY, JUNE 22, 2017 •  9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon

Wantagh Park (North Parking Lot) – 1 King Rd., Wantagh

Nassau County Legislator Steve Rhoads urges all parents, grandparents and caregivers to have their child car seats inspected on Thursday, June 22nd at Wantagh Park.

Legislator Rhoads stated, “We must do all we can to protect our children when on the road. The proper installation of a child’s car seat is critical to ensuring safety in a vehicle. Take this opportunity to let a professional make sure your child seat is safely installed in your vehicle.”

A Nassau County Traffic Safety Coordinator will inspect car seats and provide free hands-on advice from 9:00am to 12:00 noon. Appointments are required to have your child car seat inspected for safety, please call Legislator Rhoads’ office at (516) 571-6219 to make an appointment.

Child car seats are required for children under the age of eight.
