Nassau County Legislator Tom McKevitt will be hosting a Community Blood Drive, along with Legislator Steve Rhoads, New York Blood Services and the North Merrick Public Library, to donate blood and benefit those who may need it in our community. Your donation will help save up to THREE lives. Our community hospitals need your help, please share this lifesaving gift. Appointments are necessary, call Legislator McKevitt’s office at 516-571-6213 to make a reservation to donate.

blood donation Eligibility Criteria
• Bring valid ID •
• Minimum weight 110 lbs •
• Age 16 - 76 •
• Eat well (low fat FOODS) & drink fluids •
• No tattoos for past 12 months •
