[ARCHIVED] Legislator Lafazan and Lifeguard LI Host Virtual CPR Training

WHAT: Nassau County Legislator Joshua A. Lafazan (Woodbury) and Lifeguard LI proudly present a virtual Zoom CPR training session scheduled for Monday, November 9. This event is free for attendees who would like to learn how to perform CPR and gain lifesaving skills.

“When every moment counts during a medical crisis, knowledge about CPR, basic first aid and other medical fundamentals have the potential to make all the difference,” Legislator Lafazan said. “I am delighted that we will be to present this potentially life-saving information to residents safely and in the comfort of their own homes through our ongoing partnership with Lifeguard LI.”

"Lifeguard LI has always and will always stress the importance for everyone to learn life-saving CPR skills. You never know when you could possibly be saving someone's life,” Lifeguard LI instructor Nicole Keenan said.

It is important to note that this training does not qualify for an official certification and is offered strictly for informational and preparedness purposes.
