(WOODBURY, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Joshua Lafazan (Woodbury) partnered with local youngsters and the Syosset Fire Department to distribute more than 500 surgical masks at the Woodbury Jewish Center on Sunday, Nov. 8. Residents each received 10 free surgical masks as part of the ongoing effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our community.
“By providing residents with essential personal protection equipment, we are equipping them to prevent the spread of COVID-19 during the winter months ahead,” Legislator Lafazan said. “My office is proud to work with our youth and community partners like the Syosset Fire Department to help Nassau County residents protect themselves and others.”
