[ARCHIVED] Legislator Lafazan, Lifeguard LI Host Virtual CPR Training

WHAT: Nassau County Legislator Joshua A. Lafazan (Woodbury) and Lifeguard LI proudly present another virtual Zoom CPR training session scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021. This event, which is an outgrowth of their ongoing partnership, is free for attendees who would like to learn how to perform CPR and gain lifesaving skills.

“Lifeguard LI has always and will always stress how important it is for everyone to learn life-saving CPR skills. You never know when you could possibly be in the position to save someone’s life,” Lifeguard LI instructor Nicole Keenan said.

“Knowledge about CPR, basic first aid and other medical fundamentals can make all the difference when every second matters during a medical crisis,” Legislator Lafazan said. “I am delighted to continue collaborating with Lifeguard LI to present a series of webinars that allow residents to gain potentially life-saving information from the comfort of their own homes.”

It is important to note that this training does not qualify for an official certification and is offered strictly for informational and preparedness purposes.

Pre-registration is required and can be completed at www.nassaucountyny.gov/LD18. Zoom log-in information will be provided upon successful completion of your registration. For additional information, contact Legislator Lafazan’s office at 516-571-6218 or rthomas@nassaucountyny.gov.
