NASSAU COUNTY, NY – Howling winds will make it feel like single digits this weekend. I want to remind residents that our warming centers will be open from 8am to 6pm for anyone that needs them, as will our 1-866-WARMBED hotline. If you see someone who needs shelter overnight, please do not hesitate to call us. Warming center locations include Cantiague Park, Wantagh Park, and Mitchel Field Athletic Complex. Those wishing to utilize the center must fill out a COVID assessment form & wear masks, which are provided if needed.
