Nassau County Legislator John Giuffré and Assemblyman Ed Ra recently hosted an opioid overdose training seminar at the Franklin Square Library for community members to teach them how to identify the signs of an overdose, how to prevent it, and how to administer lifesaving NARCAN shots.
“Nassau County has been the epicenter of the opioid epidemic,” Legislator Giuffré said. “This training will help save lives and make people more aware of the danger of opioids. Thank you to Assemblyman Ra for hosting this training with me.”
