The Atlantic Hurricane Season lasts from June 1st through November 30th. Nassau County Legislators James Kennedy and Rose Marie Walker invite you to attend a free, informative meeting with representatives from the Nassau County Office of Emergency Management and local emergency personnel to learn how you can easily prepare your home, family and pets for Hurricane Season. Please make an effort to attend this important seminar to learn what should be done in case of a natural disaster. Remember, although we cannot prevent hurricanes, we can certainly prepare for them and by creating an emergency plan ahead of time for you and your family will help you stay organized.
