The Village of Williston Park recently sponsored the 3rd Annual “Children’s Parade for a Safer Williston Park.” The parade, which was conceived of and organized by former Mayor Doreen Ehrbar, is designed to bring the families of Williston Park together to recognize “National Night Out,” an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships to keep our neighborhoods safe.
Mayor Paul Ehrbar, Legislator Rich Nicolello, police officers and members of Williston Park’s “Neighborhood Watch” joined with many Williston Park children and families in the march up Broad Street to Kelleher Field.
