HONOR FALLEN BATON ROUGE POLICE OFFICERS

Nassau County Deputy Presiding Officer Richard Nicolello joined fellow County Legislators, the Nassau County Police Department’s Chief of Department, Steven E. Skrynecki and Police PBA President James Carver to pay tribute to the three police officers killed in Baton Rouge on Sunday, July 17. During the ceremony, police officers laid a wreath at the Nassau County Police Memorial in front of NCPD Headquarters on Franklin Avenue in Mineola in honor of the fallen.

“Our hearts are with the friends and families of the slain officers in Louisiana,” said Nicolello. “On behalf of the Nassau Legislature, I thank all police officers nationwide for their bravery, and I am very grateful for the men and women of the Nassau County Police Department who selflessly put their lives on the line for Nassau residents every day.”
