Nassau County Legislator James D. Kennedy recently honored Kevin Cardno of Massapequa’s Theodore Roosevelt Council Boy Scout Troop 776 with an honorary citation at his Court of Honor Ceremony, where he became an Eagle Scout, the highest and most prestigious rank within the organization.
Kevin’s Eagle Scout project consisted of organizing a car wash to raise funds for the beautification of the gardens at St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, which he accomplished along with fellow scouts and leaders.
