The Mineola Fire Department recently hosted a dinner to recognize three members of Truck Company No. 2, who have served the Mineola Fire Department and the residents of Mineola for 50 years. Honorary Chiefs Donald Franz, William O’Connell, and Daniel Redmond were honored by MFD officials, Mayor Scott Strauss and the Village Board, Sen. Elaine Phillips, Assemblyman Ed Ra and Presiding Officer Rich Nicolello for their dedicated service.
