Legislator Vincent Muscarella, in conjunction with NuHealth/Nassau University Medical Center, is offering free flu shots for Nassau County residents. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) highly recommends getting your flu shot this fall not only to reduce your risk from flu but also to help conserve potentially scarce health care resources.
There is no out-of-pocket expense for the flu shots. Please bring a driver’s license or other form of ID for proof of Nassau County residency. Flu shots by appointment only. COVID-19 Protocol - All residents getting their flu shots MUST: Keep 6 feet social distance, wear a facial mask, get a temperature check upon entry, and fill out a COVID-19 checklist to assess travel history and symptoms.
