Nassau County Legislator Tom McKevitt joined with the 6th grade class at John G. Dinkelmeyer Elementary School in North Bellmore to collect valentines for the annual ‘Valentines for Vets’ program. The Valentines for Vets program encourages elementary school children to create valentines and thank you notes for veterans, thanking them for their service. John G. Dinkelmeyer School is one of many elementary schools in the 13th legislative district that is taking part in the program. The valentines will be delivered to veterans and veteran organizations for distribution.
