(ROOSEVELT, OCEANSIDE and BALDWIN, N.Y.) –  To gather feedback from the constituents of the newly reconfigured Sixth Legislative District, Nassau County Legislator Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) hosted three community forums during a recent one-week span.

She began with mobile office hours at the Baldwin Public Library on Thursday, Jan. 25 and followed up with a town hall meeting at the Oceanside School District’s Kindergarten Center (School #6) on Monday, Jan. 29, where she was accompanied by three Nassau County Police Department Fourth Precinct officers and Inspector Vincent Boden. At the Roosevelt Public Library on Tuesday, Jan. 30, Legislator Mulé was joined by Nassau County Department of Public Works staff and provided an update on capital road and park projects in the community.

“I am committed to being accessible to the communities I serve and so that we have opportunities to address concerns and fulfill our shared vision for a better future,” Legislator Mulé said. “Events like these recent neighborhood forums are an essential form of community outreach, and I want to thank our gracious hosts, our guest speakers, and most importantly the residents of Baldwin, Oceanside, and Roosevelt for joining us to make their voices heard.”
