Every two seconds, someone needs blood. Nassau County Legislator James Kennedy and NYS Senator Michael Venditto are co-sponsoring a Community Blood Drive in Massapequa Park and are asking all eligible residents to donate blood and help benefit those who may need it in our community.
Every blood donation will help save up to THREE lives. Our community hospitals need your help, please share this lifesaving gift.
blood donation Eligibility Criteria
• Bring valid ID •
• Minimum weight 110 lbs •
• Age 16 - 76 •
• Eat well (low fat FOODS) & drink fluids •
• No tattoos for past 12 months •
