Did you know that the Atlantic Hurricane Season continues from July 1st up until November 30th on here on Long Island?
Presiding Officer Rich Nicolello and Legislator Vincent Muscarella are hosting a free, informative Hurricane Preparedness Community Forum along with the Nassau County Office of Emergency Management to help residents learn how to easily prepare your home, family and pets if a hurricane hits our area.
After a presentation on hurricane preparedness, representatives from the Nassau County Office of Emergency Management will be on hand to offer expert advice and answer questions from the public.
