NICOLELLO DEDICATES MEETING ROOM IN HONOR OF FORMER LEGISLATOR AND DEPUTY PRESIDING OFFICER JOHN CIOTTI
On December 9th, Nassau County Legislature Presiding Officer Richard Nicolello joined with the Majority Caucus of the Nassau County Legislature, other elected officials, community leaders and the friends and family of former Legislator and Deputy Presiding Officer John J. Ciotti to rename the Majority’s conference room in his honor. Legislator Ciotti, who passed away in 2017, was one of the original members of the Legislature, the Chair of the Finance Committee and a Deputy Presiding Officer.
“He was a fierce advocate for the residents of his district, devoted family man, loyal friend and a brilliant attorney and public servant. I was honored to have worked with John and to have called him my friend.” Presiding Officer Nicolello said.
