Presiding Officer Rich Nicolello and Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Jennifer DeSena, in conjunction with NuHealth/Nassau University Medical Center, are hosting a free flu shot program for Nassau County residents age 21 and up.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) highly recommends getting your flu shot this fall to help reduce your risk of getting the flu.
There is no out-of-pocket expense for the flu shots. Please bring a driver’s license or other form of ID for proof of Nassau County residency.
Reservations are required to receive a free flu shot. Please contact Legislator Nicolello’s office at 516-571-6209 or LD9-Events@nassaucounyny.gov to make a reservation.
