[ARCHIVED] LEGISLATOR KENNEDY SPONSORS JOHN THEISSEN CHILDREN’S FOUNDATION HOLIDAY TOY DRIVE

LEGISLATOR KENNEDY SPONSORS JOHN THEISSEN CHILDREN'S FOUNDATION HOLIDAY TOY DRIVE

John Theissen has made it his life’s mission to provide joy to children who are facing a serious or terminal illness, as well as the underprivileged.  For the past several years, Nassau County Legislator James Kennedy has sponsored the John Theissen Children’s Foundation Holiday Toy Drive.

Since its inception in 1992, the foundation has provided gifts for thousands of patients and hosted countless birthday celebrations at their headquarters in Wantagh, New York. In addition, the Foundation holds fundraisers to help the needy in any capacity possible, (medical expenses, equipment, school supplies, etc.).

“I was fortunate enough to receive a tour of the Foundation and was extremely impressed with the family fun center and the number of donated gifts.  John Theissen is an incredible person and it is a privilege to support this wonderful non-profit organization that is dedicated to make a difference in so many lives” stated Legislator Kennedy.

The John Theissen Foundation is a year-round 501©3 non-profit organization.  To volunteer, donate, sponsor and to learn more about all their programs, please call (516) 679-5098 or visit jtcf.org
