Thomas J. Broesler is a Manager of Fiscal Projects with Nassau County’s Office of Legislative Budget Review (OLBR). He joined OLBR in December 2022 as a Legislative Budget Analyst. In his current role, he is responsible for monitoring and analyzing departmental budgets across the County.
His areas of responsibility include oversight and fiscal analysis of the County Clerk, County Treasurer, Debt Services, and the Police Department, among other County agencies. Mr. Broesler also prepares analyses and projections related to sales tax revenues and labor contracts, and evaluates broader economic trends and forecasts, including GDP growth and housing market conditions.
Prior to joining Nassau County, Mr. Broesler worked as a tax preparer at a private firm for more than four years.
Mr. Broesler holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance, with Distinction, from Hofstra University, and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from SUNY Old Westbury.
