
(MINEOLA, N.Y.) – In observance of March as Women’s History Month in America, Nassau County Legislator Cynthia Nuñez (D – Valley Stream) welcomed an esteemed group of female leaders to the Theodore Roosevelt Executive & Legislative Building on Monday, March 30 for a Women of Distinction celebration.
The honorees, whose impact is felt across the communities of District 14, are:

“Each of these women has made a lasting impact through their leadership, service, and dedication to others, and it was a privilege to uplift their stories and thank them for the countless ways they strengthen Valley Stream, Lynbrook, and Elmont,” Legislator Nuñez said. “Their work reminds us that progress is built through courage, compassion, and commitment.
