(LYNBROOK, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Cynthia Nuñez (D – Valley Stream) brought her district office’s resources directly to residents during a Mobile Office Hours session at Valley Stream’s Henry Waldinger Memorial Library on Monday, April 20. Mobile office hours are an opportunity for any District 14 resident to meet with Legislator Nuñez and her staff to express their concerns, get answers to questions, and share suggestions in a casual, welcoming setting.
To build further upon her office’s community outreach, Legislator Nuñez will host a town hall at the Lynbrook Public Library, 56 Eldert Street, Lynbrook from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20.
“Our first responsibility as public servants is to address our community’s concerns and priorities. There is no better way to get a true sense of what matters most than face-to-face conversations with the people who entrusted us to represent them,” Legislator Nuñez said. “I greatly appreciate everyone’s candid feedback, and I look forward to continuing this conversation about our future at the Lynbrook Public Library on May 20.”
