Nassau County Legislator Laura Schaefer joined with Legislator Bill Gaylor, New York State Assemblyman Ed Ra, Northwell Health-LIJ Valley Stream Executive Director David Seligman and community business members Rob Feiler of Costello’s Ace Hardware and Chris Cianciulli of Red Mango Franklin Square, to donate 100 face shields and Red Mango Frozen Yogurt to healthcare workers at Northwell Health-LIJ Valley Stream, formerly known as Franklin Hospital Medical Center.
“Right now, we are facing an unprecedented time dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic and the toll it is taking on our healthcare workers,” Legislator Gaylor said. “These brave men and women are putting their own health and safety on the line to help everyone else.
