Dear Resident,
To help offer tax relief to eligible Nassau County homeowners, I will be hosting four property tax exemptions workshops in my district. The Department of Assessment staff will be on hand to provide individual assistance to any homeowner who would like to file for his or her Veterans, Senior Citizen, Cold War Veterans, Volunteer Firefighters and Ambulance Workers, or Limited Income Disability exemption on-site. Enhanced STAR applications will also be processed for homeowners already enrolled in the STAR Program prior to January 2, 2015. Here is the information for my upcoming workshops:

Homeowners are encouraged to bring copies of their 2021 Federal and State Income Tax Returns, their driver’s license and any other documentation that is required prior to attending the workshop. Further information as to what documents are required can be found on the applications that are available on the Department of Assessment webpage: https://www.nassaucountyny.gov/3575/Exemption-Forms. The workshops are free and no advance registration is required to attend.
