Nassau County Legislator Bill Gaylor, the NCPD Community Affairs Dept., the Nassau County Office of Crime Victim Advocate, the Nassau County Office for the Aging and the FCA are hosting a free presentation to help residents recognize scams, learn how to report one and how to recover if they become a scam victim. The program also includes important information on topics such as:

• How financial abuse and exploitation occur
• Scams to be aware of
• Possible signs of financial abuse
• Ways to protect yourself
• What to do if you have been a victim
