LEGISLATOR SCHAEFER JOINS COMMUNITY MEMBERS IN DONATION OF FACE SHIELDS AND FROZEN YOGURT TO HEALTHCARE WORKERS
Nassau County Legislator Laura Schaefer joined with Legislator Bill Gaylor, New York State Assemblyman Ed Ra, Northwell Health-LIJ Valley Stream Executive Director David Seligman and community business members Rob Feiler of Costello’s Ace Hardware and Chris Cianciulli of Red Mango Franklin Square, to donate 100 face shields and Red Mango Frozen Yogurt to healthcare workers at Northwell Health-LIJ Valley Stream, formerly known as Franklin Hospital Medical Center.
“The men and women who work at our hospitals are doing a great job of caring for the residents of this County during these difficult and uncertain times,” Legislator Schaefer said. “The opportunity for us to give back and show our appreciation not only helps our front-line workers get through the day but also helps us to feel like we are being proactive in the fight against this deadly pandemic.”
