Tribeca Film Festival is Taking Place in Nassau County Through August 2!
Nassau County Executive Laura Curran is thrilled to share that the iconic Tribeca Film Festival will be transforming part of the County’s Nickerson Beach park into a drive-in movie theater with room for 200 cars as part of the festival’s “Tribeca Drive-In” series.

The festival’s drive-in movie screenings will continue with showings each weekend (Thursday - Sunday) until August 2, 2020.

Tribeca Enterprises, in partnership with IMAX, AT&T and Walmart, has revealed the exciting slate of classic films to be played at the beachside venue from 1980s sci-fi Back to the Future to a favorite romantic drama Love & Basketball. The full schedule and tickets are now available on: www.Tribecafilm.com.

Nickerson Beach Updates
Nassau County’s Nickerson Beach in Lido Beach is open from 9 AM to 6 PM, with lifeguards on duty, through September 7. You’ll need a driver’s license or leisure pass for admission. A $15 parking fee will apply and seasonal permits are available.

Please be advised, to encourage social distancing and help stop the spread of COVID-19, Nickerson Beach and area beaches have reduced parking capacity by 50%. Beaches may fill to capacity by noon on sunny days and close early to incoming visitors and traffic. Local roads may have closures in effect.
