WHAT - Nassau County Legislator Carrié Solages (D – Valley Stram) is bringing his district office’s resources directly to residents by hosting mobile office hours across District 3. Legislator Solages is scheduled to be at the Western Beef Supermarket parking lot in Elmont from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Monday, June 30; the Bellerose LIRR station from 6 – 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8, the Key Food Supermarket parking lot from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Monday, July 14; the Valley Stream LIRR station from 6 – 8 p.m. on Monday, July 21, and the C-Town Supermarket parking lot from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Monday, July 28. He began the series on Friday, June 27 with a session held outside New York State Assemblymember Michaelle Solages’ Valley Stream district office.
Mobile office hours are an opportunity for any Third District resident to meet with Legislator Solages and his staff to express concerns, get answers to questions, and share suggestions. No reservations are required - residents are encouraged to drop in and have their voices heard in a casual, welcoming setting.
“Delivering effective and responsive constituent services is one of my most important roles as your Legislator, and I am committed to ensuring that you have direct access to my office and vital County resources,” Legislator Solages said. “This summer, I am meeting the people where they are so that we can hear exactly what’s on their minds and work collaboratively to address the most pressing issues.
