

(UNIONDALE, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Carrié Solages (D – Valley Stream) was sworn for a new term representing the residents of the Third Legislative District during inaugural ceremonies held at Uniondale’s Cradle of Aviation Museum on Thursday, Jan. 8. The newly reapportioned Legislative District 3 is comprised of Elmont, Lakeview, Malverne Village, Malverne Park Oaks, Bellerose Village, Bellerose Terrace, Village of South Floral Park; Valley Stream, North Valley Stream and West Hempstead.
With family, friends and loved ones looking on, looking on, Legislator Solages and his Minority Caucus colleagues were sworn in by New York State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli.
“To everyone who has been with me on this journey from the beginning, I am deeply grateful. To my new neighbors in Malverne and Lakeview who have joined District 3, I am excited to get to know you better, learn about your priorities and make sure your voices are heard at the county seat in Mineola,” Legislator Solages said. “As I enter this new term of service, I do so with tremendous gratitude for entrusting me with the responsibility to advocate for you and address your needs.”
