(UNIONDALE, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Carrié Solages (D – Valley Stream) was honored by Salem French Seventh-Day Adventist Church during the Uniondale church’s Community Guest Day on Sunday, Aug. 23. Legislator Solages was recognized for his commitment to grassroots community work and his focus on “justice, community empowerment, and service” as a Nassau County Legislator.
“For generations, Nassau County has been sustained and empowered by its vibrant faith communities, and Salem French SDA Church is a shining beacon of service within that rich tapestry,” Legislator Solages said. “This honor is deeply humbling, and I thank them for welcoming me to be a part of their Community Guest Day celebration.”
