(NEW YORK and ELMONT, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Carrié Solages (D – Valley Stream) recently congratulated Elmont native Klenord “Shaft” Raphael and his colleagues Xavier Higholt, Josh Exantus and Compton Duke on the grand opening of LéLé NYC – New York’s newest Caribbean fine dining hotspot on Madison Avenue.
“It is truly an amazing accomplishment to open an Afro-Caribbean restaurant on Madison Avenue – a place that is home to the world’s greatest cuisine and culinary talents,” Legislator Solages said. “The food was superb, and I wish Klenord and his entire team tremendous success with this venture – one that fills all of us with great pride!”
