
WHAT – Nassau County Legislator Carrié Solages (D – Valley Stream) is joining forces with New York State Assemblymember Noah Burroughs and an array of community partners and sponsors to host the second annual Hoppy Hunt at Harold Walker Memorial Park in Lakeview.
From noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 4, children and families are invited to join the celebration and take photos with the Easter Bunny, paint Easter baskets, take part in an array of clinics and seminars, compete in contests, enjoy music from a live DJ, and more.
An Easter Egg hunt with more than 2,000 eggs is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. sharp.
“Easter is a deeply meaningful time of year for local families, and it is one that our children especially look forward to,” Legislator Solages said. “I am so thankful to see how a wide-reaching array of community sponsors have come together to host this event, and I am looking forward to the Hoppy Hunt becoming a cherished Lakeview tradition for many years to come!”
