A 2-acre community resources, this newly renovated park provides a variety of recreational activities, including:
In addition, there are paddleball and handball courts, table games, water sprinklers in season, and picnic tables. The beautifully renovated basketball courts feature fiberglass backboards and color-coated courts. Basketball legend Julius Erving ("Doctor J"), who grew up in the area, played ball at these courts as a youngster. This property is one of the earliest park properties owned by the county, having been acquired in 1938 (a small additional parcel was added in 1970).
