
WHAT - Nassau County Legislator Olena Nicks (D – Uniondale) is bringing her district office’s resources directly to residents by hosting mobile office hours at Kennedy Memorial Park in Hempstead (co-hosted with Nassau County Legislator Scott M. Davis (D – Rockville Centre) on Monday, July 14 and the Westbury Public Library on Wednesday, Aug. 6.
Mobile office hours are an opportunity for any Second District resident to meet with Legislator Nicks and her staff to express their concerns, get answers to questions, and share suggestions. No reservations are required - residents are encouraged to drop in and have their voices heard in a casual and welcoming setting.
“As your Legislator, I am committed to ensuring that transparency, accessibility, responsiveness and results are at the core of my office’s approach to public service – and mobile office hours are an important way to connect directly with constituents and ensure the community’s needs are being met,” Legislator Nicks said. “I hope to see you at one of our upcoming mobile office hour sessions – which will be the first of many we host throughout the district in the months ahead.”
