WHAT – After being snowed out by this February’s blizzard, Nassau County Legislator Olena Nicks (D – Uniondale) is bringing her Mobile Office Hour series to the Uniondale Public Library at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 23.
Mobile office hours are an opportunity for any Fifth District resident to meet with Legislator Nicks and her staff to express their concerns, get answers to questions, and share suggestions. No reservations are required - residents are encouraged to drop in and have their voices heard in a casual and welcoming setting.
This year’s series has already included visits to Hempstead Village and Franklin Square; an event at the West Hempstead Public Library is set for 7 p.m. on Monday, April 13.
“While we were all very excited about our visit to the Uniondale Public Library, Mother Nature clearly had other plans,” Legislator Nicks said. “Now that the snow has cleared, I am thrilled that we will now be able to host this forum and hear your ideas about how we can make Nassau County an even better place to live, work and raise our families.”
For additional information, please contact Legislator Nicks’ office at 516-571-6205 or onicks@nassaucountyny.gov.
