WHAT – In observance of May as Jewish American Heritage Month, Nassau County Legislator Olena Nicks (D – Uniondale) will host a special celebration at the Theodore Roosevelt Executive & Legislative Building on Wednesday, May 20.
“Every May, we celebrate the tremendous contributions that Jewish Americans make toward enriching so many aspects of our society and our lives. This occasion is especially meaningful in District 5, which is home to some of Nassau County’s most vibrant and fastest-growing Jewish communities,” Legislator Nicks said. “I am looking forward to bringing our community together to celebrate the leaders, trailblazers, and advocates who do so much to change the world for the better.”
