WHAT - Nassau County Legislator Olena Nicks (D – Uniondale) is bringing her district office’s resources directly to residents by hosting a series of mobile office hour events across District 5.
Legislator Nicks will be at the Hempstead Public Library on Wednesday, Feb. 18; the Uniondale Public Library on Monday, Feb. 23; the Franklin Square Public Library on Wednesday, March 4; and the West Hempstead Public Library on Monday, April 13.
Mobile office hours are an opportunity for any Fifth District resident to meet with Legislator Nicks and her staff to express their concerns, get answers to questions, and share suggestions. No reservations are required - residents are encouraged to drop in and have their voices heard in a casual and welcoming setting.
“Transparency, accessibility, responsiveness and results are at the core of my office’s approach to public service – and mobile office hours are an important way to communicate directly with constituents and ensure your needs are being met,” Legislator Nicks said. “I am excited for the opportunity to serve the residents of the newly reapportioned Legislative District 5, and I hope to see you at one of our office’s upcoming mobile office hour events!”
